Meta Data
Linkflare enriches your bookmarks with powerful meta data, both automatically captured from the source and custom fields you define yourself.
Automatic Meta Data
Different bookmark types add different meta data depending on what the source page offers. Linkflare automatically extracts this information to give you a rich, detailed view of your content without any manual effort.
For example:
- IMDb Movies: We capture the release date, runtime, genres, and IMDb rating.
- Recipes: We extract prep time, cooking time, and macro nutrients.
- Books: We get the author, page count, and publication date.
- Articles: We save the author, reading time, and publication date.
Custom Meta Data
Beyond what's automatically captured, you can add your own custom meta data fields to any bookmark. This allows you to track specific information that matters to you.
You can add the following types of custom meta data:
- Text: Add short notes, labels, or any text-based information. Useful for adding your own categories, project codes, or brief descriptions.
- Number: Store numerical values. Great for tracking prices, ratings, priority levels, or any other quantitative data.
- Date: Add date fields. Perfect for tracking deadlines, review dates, or when you plan to start a task.
